DigiBIC is a FP7 project aimed at disseminating tools from EU funded research projects in cultural heritage and digital technologies towards SME users. The catalogue of tools is updated on a continuous basis and the following new technologies are now available for use by 3D market players, WebGL geeks and the music industry:
– Meshpad, a free, open source, portable, and extendible software for the visualization of unstructured 3D triangular meshes on mobile products (iOS, Android, Blackberry).
– live sound technologies, the goal of which are the reduction of crosstalk between sources and the reduction of artefacts between source and microphone in live musical applications.
– X3Dom, an open source framework that allows embedding X3D elements into modern HTML5 based websites.
